YCGS meetings are held on the first Saturday of every month except July and August. Our September meeting is held on the second Saturday due to the Labor Day holiday.

Meetings are held at the Western Oregon Waster Recovery Facilty meeting room located up stairs (elevator available) at 2200 NE Orchard Ave. McMinnville, Oregon.

9:30 am - 12:00 noon.

HISTORY:  The Yamhill County Genealogical Society was founded in 1981 by some very dedicated genealogists and we endeavor to continue the organization in that spirit. 

MISSION STATEMENT:  The purpose of this organization is to educate Society members and the public in genealogical research and to record and preserve genealogical and historical records.

OBJECTIVES:  To instruct members in research through monthly educational meetings, to create an interest in genealogical and historical material, and to publish genealogical and historical records.
